Choosing a suitable and qualified safety helmet and using it correctly is necessary to fully utilize its function and ensure the safety of the user. When using a safety helmet, the following principles should be noted:
(1) Before wearing, check whether the accessories of the safety helmet are damaged, whether the assembly is firm, whether the adjusting part of the helmet lining is clamped tightly, whether the socket is secure, whether the rope is tied tightly, etc. If the distance between the helmet lining and the helmet shell is not between 25-50mm, adjust it to the specified range with the top rope. Ensure that all components are in good condition before use.
(2) According to the size of the user's head, adjust the length of the helmet hoop to the appropriate position (with moderate elasticity). The safety helmet worn by high-altitude workers should have a chin strap and a back neck hoop, and should be securely fastened to prevent the hat from slipping or falling off.
(3) When the safety helmet is subjected to significant impact during use, regardless of whether obvious fracture lines or deformation are found on the helmet shell, it should be stopped from use and replaced with a damaged safety helmet. The general lifespan of a safety helmet should not exceed 3 years.
(4) Safety helmets should not be stored in areas with acid, alkali, high temperature (above 50 ℃), sunlight, humidity, etc., to avoid being squeezed by heavy objects or pricked by sharp objects.
(5) The cap shell and cap liner can be washed with cold water or warm water (below 50 ℃), and should not be baked on a radiator to prevent deformation of the cap shell.
