The Multi-Purpose Reusable Respirator is a dual-filter elastomeric half-mask engineered to accommodate interchangeable bayonet-mount chemical cartridges and particulate filters for industrial respiratory protection. Molded from medical-grade thermoplastic elastomer, this facepiece maintains structural stability and seal compliance across hazardous operating environments.
Key Features
Universal Bayonet Interface
Twin-bayonet connection ports designed to lock compatible filter cartridges securely with an audible tactile click.
Dual Inhalation Valves
Low-resistance silicone valve diaphragms configured to reduce inhalation effort and limit moisture accumulation during extended shifts.
Contoured Face Seal
Engineered edge geometry designed to conform to diverse facial profiles and maintain airtight integrity under movement.
4-Point Head Harness
Adjustable woven strap assembly connected to a rigid crown cradle to distribute tension evenly across the head.
Downward Exhalation Vent
Directs exhaled breath downward to prevent fogging when worn in combination with safety glasses or face shields.
Design & Components
Facepiece Body
Medical-grade Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) resistant to industrial cleaning agents and facial oils.
Valve Diaphragms
High-flexibility silicone material providing rapid response to breath cycles.
Bayonet Lugs
Rigid molded side-ports engineered for repetitive filter attachment and detachment cycles.
Harness Assembly
High-elasticity polyester straps paired with a durable polypropylene crown distribution plate.
Pre-Filter Retainer
Snap-fit polypropylene covers designed to hold particulate filter pads over gas cartridges.

Applications & Limitations
Recommended Applications
- Chemical Handling: Protection against organic vapors, solvents, and liquid mists during fluid transfer and vessel maintenance.
- Surface Coating: Spray painting, lacquer application, and epoxy resin processing operations.
- Metal Fabrication: Welding, cutting, and grinding processes generating combined metal fumes and dust.
- General Construction: Masonry cutting, sanding, and insulation handling operations.
Usage Limitations
- Not for use in atmospheres containing less than 19.5% oxygen.
- Not for use in environments immediately dangerous to life or health.
- Do not use when facial hair crosses the sealing edge of the facepiece.
Compatible Filters & Accessories
Organic Vapor Cartridges: Absorbs organic gases and vapors with boiling points above 65°C.
Combination Gas & Particulate Canisters: Filters mixed exposures of acid gases, organic vapors, and solid aerosols.
Particulate Disc Filters: High-efficiency electrostatic media for fine dust, welding fumes, and mists.
Particulate Pre-Filter Pads: Disposable filter pads mounted onto chemical cartridges to capture coarse dust.
Snap-On Retainers: Polypropylene caps securing pre-filter pads onto gas cartridges.
Use & Maintenance
Pre-Use Seal Inspection
- Positive Pressure Check: Cover the exhalation valve cover with the palm of the hand and exhale gently. The facepiece should inflate slightly without air leaking past the edge seal.
- Negative Pressure Check: Cover the filter inlets with hands, inhale gently, and hold breath for 10 seconds. The facepiece should collapse inward against the face.
Cleaning & Washing
- Detach all filter cartridges before cleaning the mask body.
- Immerse the elastomeric facepiece in warm water below 40°C mixed with a neutral detergent.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water and air-dry in a clean area away from direct sunlight.
