Technical Parameters

Engineered for industrial environments requiring continuous protection against hazardous particulate matter, the Replaceable Particulate-Filter Respirator features a modular architecture that separates the durable silicone facepiece from consumable filtration media.

Key Features

Modular Filter Interchangeability
Separates the durable facepiece from consumable filter elements to reduce long-term operational replacement costs.
Hypoallergenic Silicone Architecture
Medical-grade liquid silicone rubber maintains flexibility across extreme temperatures and prevents dermal irritation during prolonged wear.
Optimized Exhalation Valve Layout
Engineered valve geometry reduces exhalation resistance and minimizes hot air accumulation inside the mask cavity.

Low-Profile Dual-Cartridge Design
Maxims downward field of vision and accommodates protective eyewear or welding shields without structural interference.
Secure Bayonet Interface
Positive-lock mechanism ensures audible and tactile verification of airtight filter attachment.
Ergonomic 4-Point Harness
Distributes tension evenly across the crown to maintain a secure facial seal during active movement.

Applications & Limitations

Applications

  • Welding & Metal Fabrication: Protection against metal fumes and grinding dust.
  • Construction & Demolition: Shielding against silica dust and masonry debris.
  • Mining & Quarrying: Heavy-duty filtration for mineral dust and underground particulate hazards.
  • Woodworking: Defense against hardwood dust and fine sanding residue.
  • Agriculture: Particulate control during powder pesticide dispersion.

Limitations

  • Do not use in atmospheres containing less than 19.5% oxygen.
  • Not suitable for immediately dangerous to life or health atmospheres.
  • Does not provide gas or vapor protection unless paired with combined chemical cartridges.
  • Facial hair passing between the sealing edge and skin will compromise the airtight seal.

Compatible Filters & Accessories

Particulate Filter Discs (P3 R / HEPA): High-efficiency mechanical particle filters capturing aerosols down to 0.3 microns.
Combination Cartridges: Dual-purpose canisters integrating activated carbon beds with particulate media.

Filter Retainer Caps: Secure covers designed to hold pre-filters over main particulate cartridges.
Replacement Valve Kits: Interchangeable silicone exhalation and inhalation valve membranes.
Storage Containers: Protective hermetic cases to prevent contamination during non-operational storage.

Use & Maintenance

Pre-Use Inspection
Inspect the silicone facepiece for cracks, tears, and distortion. Verify that inhalation and exhalation valves are clean, flexible, and properly seated without deformation. Confirm that filter cartridges are unexpired and securely locked into the bayonet ports.

Donning & Seal Check
Place the respirator over the mouth and nose, pull the head harness over the crown, and adjust bottom straps behind the neck. Perform a negative pressure seal check by covering the filter inlets with palms, inhaling gently until the facepiece collapses slightly, and holding for 10 seconds to ensure no air leakage occurs.

Cleaning & Sanitization
Remove filter elements prior to cleaning. Wash the silicone facepiece in warm water using a neutral detergent. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and air dry at room temperature away from direct sunlight. Do not use organic solvents or abrasive cleaners.

FAQ

Q: What is the primary advantage of a replaceable particulate-filter respirator over disposable masks?

A: The modular design allows users to retain the durable silicone facepiece and replace only the consumable filter elements when exhausted, significantly reducing long-term operational costs and material waste in industrial environments.

Q: How do I determine when the particulate filters need to be replaced?

A: Filters must be replaced when the user notices increased breathing resistance due to particulate accumulation, when physical damage to the filter media occurs, or in accordance with facility hygiene schedules.

Q: Can workers with facial hair achieve a proper seal with this half mask?

A: Facial hair passing across the sealing flange interferes with the airtight interface, which can cause inward leakage. Clean-shaven faces are strictly required for optimal protection.

Q: What international safety standards do these respirators comply with?

A: The respirators are manufactured to meet CE EN 140 standards for half masks and EN 143 standards for particle filters, ensuring verified filtration efficiency and structural integrity for global markets.
