The Industrial Dust-Filtering Respirator is engineered for continuous protection against hazardous airborne particulates, utilizing a dual-bayonet half-mask structure paired with electrostatic electret media to capture fine industrial dusts, grinding powders, and mists.
Key Features
Low Resistance Airflow: Optimized internal exhalation channels reduce breath restriction during sustained physical work.
Contoured Facial Seal: Flexible thermoplastic elastomer edge conforms to varied facial geometries to minimize inward leakage.
Dual-Bayonet Interface: Standardized twist-lock connection secures filter cartridges tightly against accidental detachment.
Durable Body Construction: Resilient elastomeric material resists degradation from industrial oils and environmental exposure.
Downward Venting Valve: Central exhalation flap channels exhaled breath downward to prevent fogging on safety eyewear.
Four-Point Head Cradle: Adjustable woven elastic straps distribute tension evenly across the crown and neck.

Applications & Limitations
Applications
- Metal fabrication, grinding, welding, and foundry operations
- Construction, masonry cutting, and demolition sites
- Mining, tunneling, and bulk mineral processing
- Woodworking, furniture manufacturing, and cellulose handling
- Chemical powder packaging and fertilizer production
- Waste sorting, recycling, and industrial sweeping
Limitations
- Do not deploy in atmospheres containing less than 19.5 percent oxygen.
- Unsuitable for immediately dangerous life or health atmospheres.
- Does not protect against toxic gases or vapors unless fitted with certified combination cartridges.
- Facial hair passing beneath the sealing edge will compromise facial fit and protection integrity.
Compatible Filters & Accessories
- Particulate Filter Disc: High-efficiency P3 R filter for toxic dusts and biological aerosols.
- Combination Cartridge: Dual-protection canisters for organic vapors and particulate hazards.
- Pre-Filter Retainer: Plastic cap securing disposable pre-filters over main filter units.
- Replacement Harness Kit: Spare 4-point elastic strap and buckle assembly.
- Valve Membrane Set: Replacement silicone exhalation flaps.
Use & Maintenance
Pre-Use Inspection
- Examine the elastomer facepiece for cracks, tears, cuts, or permanent distortion.
- Check inhalation and exhalation valves for debris, cracks, or missing membrane flaps.
- Verify that filter cartridges are unexpired, undamaged, and locked securely into both bayonet ports.
Donning & Seal Verification
- Place the respirator over the nose and chin, positioning the head harness over the crown.
- Pull the bottom straps behind the neck and hook them together, then adjust top straps for balanced tension.
- Positive Pressure Check: Cover the exhalation valve with your palm, exhale gently, and verify that air does not escape past the facial seal.
- Negative Pressure Check: Cover the filter inlets with your palms, inhale gently, hold your breath for 10 seconds, and ensure the facepiece collapses inward without air leakage.
Cleaning & Storage
- Detach filter cartridges before cleaning the facepiece.
- Wash the elastomer body in warm water below 40°C using a mild neutral detergent.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water and air dry in a contamination-free environment away from direct sunlight.
- Store in a sealed container or protective bag in a cool, dry location.
